Our Elect Lady
Missionary Jacqueline A. Ransom was born in Sparta, GA and attended the public schools of Hancock County. She furthered her education at Atlanta Junior College, Sullivan Business College, and Augusta Technical College. She studied office administration and accounting. She is currently a Senior Federal Employee with 30 years of service.
She gave her life to Jesus Christ at age 26 while stationed in Germany with her military husband. She has served faithfully in the Church of God in Christ in Germany, Kentucky and now Georgia.
In 2003, the Lord called her to be a Missionary. Shortly after the call, she received her Evangelist/Missionary License under Women’s Supervisor Mother Bertha Fitts.
Missionary Ransom believes that whatever thy hands finds to do, do it. She has worked diligently in the church. God has used her in numerous aspects of ministry. They include:
· Sunday School Teacher
· Usher Board
· Bible Band Teacher
· Praise Team Member
· Choir Member
· Leader over the Women’s Department
· YWCC leader
· Sunshine Band/Youth Worker and
· Secretary for Millen District Women’s Department.
She loves working with the youth, especially the Sunshine Band. Her favorite scripture is John 4:7-8. Beloved, let us love one another: for love is of God; and every one that loveth is born of God, and knoweth God.
Missionary Ransom is the wife of Elder Melvin Ransom, Pastor of Liberty Temple Ministries Church of God In Christ. They have two wonderful children – a son Mykel and one daughter Jacquetta. The Lord also blessed her with a daughter-n-law, Christy and 5 grandchildren (1 granddaughter and 4 grandsons).
Together, Pastor and Missionary Ransom enjoy serving and praising God.
